Mrs. Anderson,

It is great hearing from SAGHS. I'm currently in my 2nd year at the University of Waterloo in Canada. I'm doing my undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering. I was in form 5 in 2001 and left after CXC. It seems so long ago but I know in the larger scheme of things it was just a moment ago. After SAGHS I did one year of high school in Canada at a private catholic school and it in NO way lived up to the standard of SAGHS. I just want to really encourage you and all the teachers at SAGHS to continue to uphold the traditions and culture of SAGHS. I remember being a student LOVING SAGHS but still wondering what the point of all these seemingly useless rules and regulations were. It was only after leaving that I was able to value what we have at SAGHS so my only hope is that the girls there now will appreciate everything about SAGHS including the rules and values that we have. Thank you for everything you have done for me and continue to do.

Love,

Kavitah Maharaj

Patrice Parris

Hello Mrs. Anderson and all the staff at SAGHS,

This is Patrice Parris, former games captain and head of Wagar house in 1995. I also went on to do advanced levels but had to leave for the US in December of 1996 and could not write the exam. I am so happy to see that we finally have a website so that can reminisce a bit about old times. I completed by BSc in Anthropology, Biology and Chemistry at Lehman College in the Bronx, New York in 2003 and now I am getting ready to go to Medical school. I must say that SAGHS had prepared me for every single challenge that I encountered and I found that ! College was easier to me than high school. I hope that you continue to do what you do best, educate and empower young women, Thank you all.

Patrice
